Chef García has conquered San Antonio and its surrounding areas with his exceptional selection of Cuban and international cuisine. Born with an affinity for cooking, Chef Noelvis García began his formal culinary journey at age 17 when he enrolled at the Cienfuegos Culinary Association in Cuba.

Culinary Background and Training
Starting from the bottom while continuing his studies, Chef García worked his way up to become the head chef of the association’s restaurant. His expertise expanded as he served as a cooking professor for the same association and worked as a cook and chef at several hotels and restaurants throughout Cienfuegos.
Chef García’s dedication and skill have earned him significant recognition:
- Second place in Cuba’s Young Chef of the Year competition
- The prestigious Culinary Merit Medal, awarded by the World Association of Chefs to chefs with more than 15 years of experience and teaching credentials
- Graduate certification as an International Chef from the Center for Advanced Studies of the Cuban Culinary Federation in Havana
He is an active member of both the Cuban Culinary Federation and the World Association of Chef Societies, bringing 18 years of culinary expertise to his craft.

Journey to San Antonio
Like many newly arrived Cubans, Chef García endured a challenging journey to reach the United States. His wife came to San Antonio first, and they chose to settle here because of family connections.
